A diferencia de otras masas, como la masa de hojaldre o la masa casera, la pasta brick es extremadamente fina y crujiente, lo que la convierte en la opción perfecta para crear una base abierta y ligera para la tarta.
Este plato es ideal para una cena rápida o para servir como entrante en ocasiones especiales como reuniones con amigos o comidas familiares. Es una manera sencilla de preparar algo diferente con muy pocos ingredientes y seguramente sorprenderá gratamente a nuestros invitados.

- 250g de masa filo
- 200g queso rallado
- 250g jamón york
- 200g de tomate frito
- 70ml aceite de oliva

Cómo hacer tarta de jamón y queso
- Dado que esta es una receta muy rápida, lo primero que debemos hacer es encender el horno a 170ºC. De esta manera, mientras preparamos nuestro pastel de jamón y queso, el horno alcanzará la temperatura adecuada para que la masa filo quede perfecta.
- Para empezar, desplegamos las láminas de masa filo sobre la mesa de trabajo y pincelamos la primera lámina con aceite de oliva virgen extra. Después, espolvoreamos orégano sobre la superficie de la masa. Dejando alrededor de un dedo de borde sin cubrir, colocamos las lonchas de jamón, procurando que queden superpuestas. Sobre el jamón, extendemos el tomate frito y espolvoreamos queso rallado. Enrollamos la masa para formar un cilindro y repetimos este proceso hasta tener suficientes cilindros para cubrir el molde.
- En el centro de un molde redondo, colocamos los cilindros enrollándolos sobre sí mismos para formar una espiral y continuamos hasta cubrir toda la superficie del molde. Para terminar, pincelamos la superficie de la espiral con aceite de oliva y horneamos con calor arriba y abajo durante 25-30 minutos o hasta que nuestra tarta de jamón y queso tenga un bonito color dorado.
