Hoy tocan unas ricas patatas al azafrán. Son sencillisimas de preparar y acompañan de maravilla con cualquier carne o pescado al horno. El toque de azafrán junto con el romero otorga a estas patatas un sabor especial y muy diferente al de unas patatas asadas tradicionales. Lo mejor de estas patatas al azafrán es que podemos aprovechar que encendemos el horno para hacer el plato principal y ponerlas al mismo tiempo. Este tipo de recetas facilitan mucho las comidas y no dan ningún trabajo adicional al de preparar lo que teníamos pensado servir para la comida.
Esta receta la hemos hecho con patatas de guarnición. La razón es sencilla y es tanto por estética como por el tiempo de cocción que van a necesitar, de este modo se hacen mucho antes. Pero sin problema podéis hacerlas con patatas de cualquier tamaño. Si elegís patatas mas grandes lo que debéis tener en cuenta es que hay que partirlas para que no tarden mucho en hacerse.
ingredientes para 4 raciones de patatas al azafrán
- 1k de patatas pequeñas
- 4 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
- 375ml de vino blanco seco
- 3 dientes de ajo
- 1 ramitas de romero fresco
- un puñadito de azafrán
- un poco de sal gorda
Patatas al azafrán elaboración
Pelamos las patatas, las lavamos y las ponemos a hervir con agua y sal. Pasados unos 10 o 15 minutos las pasamos a una fuente para horno junto al aceite, el vino blanco, el romero, los dientes de ajos pelados y un poco de sal gorda.
Metemos la fuente al horno a unos 200 grados durante media hora. En los últimos 5 minutos de cocción añadimos el azafrán y las dejamos hasta que las patatas estén en su punto. Es recomendable regarlas de vez en cuando con aceite de oliva. Removemos de vez en cuando para que no se peguen. Ahora ya puedes servir las patatas al azafrán.
