Receta de crema de calabaza. Algunos de vosotros habéis hecho ya algunas de mis cremas de calabaza como la crema de calabaza y zanahoria o la crema Alicia y me habéis pedido una crema con calabaza que no tuviera leche y que fuera lo más «cult» posible.
Y a mi como me gusta muchísimo las cremas en general y a la calabaza la encuentro un fruto de culto con el que me encanta hacer combinaciones distintas, pues me decidido a satisfacer vuestras inquietas mentes y a preparar esta nueva receta que me ha gustado tanto que quiero compartirla con vosotros.
Os confieso que esta receta de crema de calabaza nace de mi obsesión por el curry y de mi reto personal de incluir semillas de chía en distintas recetas. No sé si ya habéis leído mi post sobre las semillas de chía propiedades y beneficios, pero os recomiendo leerlo y entenderéis «el porqué» de usarlas más en los platos que preparo. Ingredientes para 4 personas
- 400g calabaza
- 3 o 4 zanahorias
- 1 cebolla tierna
- 2 cucharadas de semillas sésamo
- 2 cucharadas de semillas de chía
- 1 cucharada de curry amarillo
- sal
- pimienta
- aceite de oliva virgen
- 750ml agua mineral
- pimentón agridulce (opcional)
Elaboración de la receta de crema de calabaza
- En primer lugar vamos a lavar las verduras y a cortarlas todas en un tamaño similar.
- En una olla ponemos 3 o 4 cucharadas soperas de aceite de oliva lo calentamos y agregamos las verduras.
- Luego pochamos las verduras en el aceite durante aproximadamente 15 minutos y agregamos el curry, las semillas de chía y las semillas de sésamo.
- Rehogamos durante 5 minutos más.
- Más tarde agregamos el agua mineral fría. Desde ese momento cocemos las verduras durante 15 o 20 minutos.
- Transcurrido ese tiempo trituramos las verduras con el agua y las semillas. Y prácticamente ya tenemos nuestro plato finalizado.
- Servimos la crema con un poco de pimentón agridulce y unas pocas mas de semillas de chía.
