Cómo conservar las fresas. Las fresas son una fruta deliciosa que gusta a toda la familia. El gran problema está en que si no las conservamos correctamente esta se deterioran con mucha rapidez. Conservarlas es muy sencillo si sabemos hacerlo de forma correcta. Esto no tiene ninguna complicación y podemos llevarlo a cabo en cuestión de minutos.De este modo conseguiremos alargar la fecha de consumo de las fresas o frutillas a casi el doble de lo que suele ser habitual.
Antes de comenzar a ver cómo conservar las fresas correctamente recordar lo que siempre os comento cuando hablamos de congelar verduras o frutas o de su conservación en general. El factor más importante a la hora de conseguir el mejor resultado es comprar siempre productos de calidad y seleccionar las mejores frutas y verduras. No es nada aconsejable comprar fresas demasiado maduras, estas son perfectas para hacer mermeladas y confituras, pero nada más.
Cómo conservar las fresas
Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es poner un bol con abundante agua. Es importante que el agua no esté caliente. Después agregaremos entre dos y tres cucharadas de vinagre al agua. Puede ser vinagre de vino blanco o de manzana.
A continuación con mucho cuidado y de una en una (para que no se golpeen) depositamos las fresas en el agua con vinagre y las dejaremos reposar durante al menos 15 minutos.
Lo siguiente que debemos hacer es sacar las fresas del agua y ponerlas sobre un paño de cocina o un papel absorbente. Las dejamos que escurran todo el agua.
Finalmente, si venían en una caja de madera las volvemos a poner en su caja, las tapamos con papel film. hacemos algunos agujeros a modo de respiradero y las llevamos a la nevera. Si no tiene caja de madera las ponemos en un plato hondo que nos permita taparlo.
