El brownie de chocolate es una receta típica americana. Básicamente, es un bizcocho crujiente por fuera y jugoso por dentro, compacto, dulce y de color marrón (de ahí su nombre de «brownie»). Hay muchos tipos de brownies: de chocolate blanco, sin azúcar, con leche, con pistachos, con cacao, con nueces… Pero sin duda, lo mejor es prepararlo con la receta tradicional americana, con chocolate negro.
El origen de este pastelito de chocolate es incierto, pero se cree que fue creado en Boston o Maine a finales del siglo XIX. La receta original era para un pastel de chocolate sin levadura, cortado en cuadrados y servido como postre. Con el tiempo, la receta se ha modificado para incluir levadura, lo que da como resultado un pastel más ligero y esponjoso. Se han agregado diferentes ingredientes a la masa, como nueces, chips de chocolate, frutas secas y especias. Los brownies se pueden servir glaseados, con crema batida o helado.
Este bizcocho de chocolate también se puede preparar en el microondas, aunque nuestra recomendación es hacerlo en el horno, ya que el resultado mejora notablemente.

Ingredientes
- 120g de chocolate fondant
- 220g de mantequilla
- 4 huevos
- 220g de azúcar
- 70g de harina
- nueces o cualquier otro fruto seco que os guste
Brownie de chocolate receta
- Prepara el horno a 200º C. En un cuenco, mezcla la harina tamizada, el azúcar y los huevos. Derrite el chocolate con la mantequilla al baño María y mezcla hasta integrar. Une las preparaciones hasta obtener una masa homogénea.
- Vierte la mezcla de brownie en un molde engrasado con mantequilla y espolvoreado con cacao en polvo, desechando el exceso.
- Hornea a 180º C durante unos 20 minutos. Ajusta el tiempo si el molde es más alto, quizás necesite 1 o 2 minutos adicionales. Vigila para evitar que se queme.
- Cuando esté listo, saca el molde del horno y desmolda el brownie.
Consejos para hacer el brownie perfecto
- Usa chocolate de buena calidad con un alto contenido de cacao.
- La mantequilla debe estar a temperatura ambiente para que se integre bien con los demás ingredientes.
- No batas demasiado la masa, solo hasta que los ingredientes estén integrados.
- No llenes demasiado el molde, ya que los brownies subirán durante el horneado.
- Precalienta el horno antes de empezar.
- Engrasa y enharina el molde para brownies.
- Sigue la receta cuidadosamente para obtener los mejores resultados.
- No abras el horno durante los primeros 20 minutos de cocción para que los brownies suban bien.
- Deja enfriar los brownies completamente antes de cortarlos y servirlos.
- Puedes añadir un poco de café instantáneo a la masa para realzar el sabor del chocolate.

El mejor acompañamiento para este bizcocho denso de chocolate, creo, es un buen helado de vainilla o cualquier otro tipo de helado. Es preferible acompañarlo de una salsa o helado, ya que tomarlo solo puede parecer un poco pesado y así mejoramos la experiencia.
